Hamlet will be set in the fictionalized Victorian Era - think the imagined world of Dickens, Sweeney Todd, Victorian Melodrama. When Hamlet first appears, he is affected by the overarching oppression and decay of the land under the loose morals of the now King and his mother. Through the course of the show, he slowly degrades into his surroundings until the final confrontation.

The production will be in a modified theater in the round - where the audience is surrounded by play in parts. Sounds, smells and sights will immerse the audience in the play.
