Field of the Invention The present invention relates to methods and apparatuses for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). More particularly, the invention relates to a method and apparatus for obtaining image information for a cross-section of an object by using a contrast medium. 2. Description of the Related Art MR angiography (MRA) is a technique for imaging a bloodstream in an object. A time-spatial sensitivity encoding technique has been applied to MRA, and various methods have been proposed to improve the MRA. A time-spatial sensitivity encoding technique is one in which the sensitivity of a k-space point in MRA is dependent upon a combination of phase encoding and spatial encoding. When the sensitivity of a k-space point depends upon a combination of phase encoding and spatial encoding, a contrast agent is often injected into an object to be examined. Thus, a sectional image in which the object is seen by utilizing a contrast agent is obtained. To obtain an image in MRA, it is necessary to make the magnetic resonance (MR) signal of blood (blood flowing in a living body) greater than the MR signal of tissue (tissue surrounding blood vessels), and to make the MR signal of a contrast agent (artificial blood) greater than the MR signal of blood. However, in MRA, the MR signal of blood is typically smaller than the MR signal of tissue, and the MR signal of a contrast agent is typically smaller than the MR signal of blood. A selective low-angle acquisition with spin echo (SLE) pulse sequence has been known as a method for obtaining a contrast-enhanced MR image of an object. In the SLE pulse sequence, a low-angle selective pulse is irradiated in order to obtain a selective low-angle-pulse MR signal from blood flowing through an imaging section, and a 180° pulse is irradiated
