Audition Information
Please prepare a 1 to 2 minute monologue in the style of the show, but not from the show. It does not need to be memorized however, you should be very familiar with it. There will be cold readings from the sides during the process. Be prepared to read frequently as we want to see how well the characters work together.

Josephine/Jo: Famous author and a mischievous tomboy. She is the narrator of the story.
Mr. March: The devoted father of the March sisters.
Mrs. March (Marmee): The emotional foundation of the March household.
Meg: The oldest and most practical March sister.
Beth: The gentle and compassionate March sister with a love for music.
Amy: The youngest March sister. She is an ambitious, yet charming artist.
Hannah: The devoted housekeeper in the March home.
Aunt March: The highly opinionated, widowed rich relative.
Mr. Laurence: The wealthy neighbor of the March family.
Theodore Laurence (Laurie): The energetic, charismatic grandson of Mr. Laurence.
John Brooke: A tutor who is thoughtful and deeply caring.
Professor Friedrich Bhaer: Unglamorous german immigrant.
